This official city portal, Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan Portal (www.kul.com.my)was launched and accessible by everyone in conjunction with the 16th World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) on the 12th May 2008.
The Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan Portal is a local based FIRST STOP INFORMATION and MULTI-PURPOSE PORTAL for Kuala Lumpur City, aimed at enhancing and complementing the other existing specific objectives driven government, private and NGOs websites by being able to direct traffic and through sharing of information resources.
